What is this project?

This is: 

  2. 1. An open source event collector/aggregator that will hopefully make it easier to collect events
  3. 2. A way for me to try and stay up to date without using social media. 
  4. 3. Could potentially be a way to funnel events into the fediverse

How does it work?

The events are collected in two ways.

How do I join?

Send me an email to mail@joelgalvez.com

How do I quit?

You could just remove the email that ends with @publicdata.events from your newsletter, but I would would much prefer it you emailed me instead on mail@joelgalvez.com so I can better understand why.

Why are you doing this?

I quit Facebook and wanted to know what was going on.

How is this funded?

I'm mostly doing this on my spare time. In 2022 I got a subsidy from Stimuleringsfonds to indirectly fund this project through the 'bouwen aan talent' program.
